This kitchen wand has been hand forged entirely from recycled high carbon steel. It possesses a timber handle crafted from salvaged Tasmanian Blackwood and Myrtle Beech timber. These incredibly durable materials have been transformed into an easy to use, ergonomic kitchen knife that can be utilised to cut up many types of foods. It is especially helpful for cutting through large root vegetables, meat and small bones, It is not designed to cut large bones. It has a blade length of 156mm and a handle length of 137mm. It has a spine thickness of 3mm and an HRC of approximately 59-60.

This knife is made of high carbon steel, therefore it will naturally patina when exposed to moisture. To keep your knife in its best condition; hand wash your knife after use, dry your knife directly after washing, apply some food grade mineral oil to your knife after drying.
