This broad tang wand has been hand forged entirely from recycled high carbon steel. It possesses a timber handle crafted from salvaged two types of Tasmanian Myrtle Beech timber. These incredibly durable materials have been transformed into an easy to use, ergonomic knife that can be utilised in the kitchen or brought on any adventure and can aid in many tasks such as cooking camp meals, opening packages or foraging/harvesting. Designed for light bush craft tasks only, it is not designed for heavy use such as batoning logs ect. It has a blade length of 130mm and a handle length of 108mm. It has a spine thickness of 2mm and an HRC of approximately 59-60.

This knife is made of high carbon steel, therefore it will naturally patina when exposed to moisture. To keep your knife in its best condition; hand wash your knife after use, dry your knife directly after washing, apply some food grade mineral oil to your knife after drying.
Do not be alarmed when you see the patina forming, a patina will help create a barrier against the formation of rush.
